Intro made me think I was about to watch another episode of Content Cop.

The 1st time I had taken apart a Switch Lite to replace the left joystick, i followed everything exact but afterwords noticed the stick feels "sticky" not moving freely in full rotation (even during calibration), this a brand new stick. Also, after taking it apart - the top 3 buttons to Power and Volume buttons don't work now (damaged ribbon cable)?

HI, I HAVE INSTALLED TWO SCREENS ON ONE MODEL, THE SCREENS ARE WORKING NORMALLY BUT THE TOUCH DOESN'T WORK AT ALL ON EITHER OF THE TWO SCREENS I TESTED.

That saves me the hassles of wiping the hardrive off all my data and turning it in to gamestop and buying another used console 😂😂😂.

Just replaced the left joystick on the kids switch lite, the downwards motion was inconsistent, the character stopped moving etc. got a $15 kit from Amazon with the tools required and replaced it by looking at this video. Very easy, just don't lose the tiny screws, put them in a container with multiple compartments to keep track of where they go, then just reverse from the last screw you put in there.

My son broke his right joycon like 2 weeks ago finally got round to fixing it couple days ago by following this tutorial, there's a lot of unscrewing and removing components but you can't go wrong if you follow this video thoroughly, thanks very much mate all fixed and as good as new you're a diamond, saving us money instead of getting it fixed at a shop, much appreciated 👍🏻

I'm so sad. i wrongly assumed this would be easy. One of the screw on the daughter board won't come out, and now it is partially stripped, and i can't get my switch to turn on. I think maybe i couldn't get the power connector reattached properly.

Anyone know where to get replacement joysticks? They sell them online with repair kits but I wanna just buy them in bulk since I have all my grandfather’s goldsmithing tools

I just fixed my left joystick watching this tutorial and it was moderately easy, at times I felt like I was gonna break something and had to redo a few steps because the ribbons didn’t make good connection. But I can’t believe how much money and effort I saved by doing it myself. Thinking of replacing the right joystick because it’s looking a bit worn off before it breaks

I need help. I replaced 2 Nintendo Switch joysticks (all 4 of them). One came out perfect no issues and the other has no power after replacement. I tried everything, same procedure and process as the one that works. I reinstalled the old ones to see if that was it and still no power. No loose connections, no damage to the cables, added new thermal paste to both of them. Is there any reason why this happened? I even tried all the methods. Charging it, doing the power + low volume method. Nothing works. Could it be the battery? Previously the battery would drain pretty quick compared to the one that works. Do you think when I disconnected the battery it just gave out?
